New Remote, Amsterdam
On TV Apolo, members of the New Remote group presented their project which was shown in the Student Cultural Centre (SKC) in Belgrade between 23rd and 28th April, 2001.
New Remote's strategy criticizes modern consumerism while the fashion show called "Label flashing" held in skc tends to play with the "label" phenomenon. models wore specially designed underwear designed by a member of the group, Camilla Singh.
Biography
New Remote was established by five members in 1999 in the Netherlands, but since then there have been more than twenty people. The latest incarnation of the group are Ger Levinus, Branislav Nikolić, Miloš Janković, Camilla Singh, Steini Torsson, and Walter Willems.
