As part of the presentation of the practice of Centra_kuda.org from Novi Sad at MMSU in Rijeka, the audience will be introduced to the long-term work of this organization, through an attempt to jointly detect and problematize paradigmatic places, politics and reflection of such and similar practices within contemporary art and cultural production.

Center for New Media_kuda.org is a cultural organization from Novi Sad that since its founding in 2001 brings together artists, theorists, media activists, researchers and the general public in the field of research of new relations in culture, art theory and practice, new technologies and social and political topics. . Centar_kuda.org actively participates in regional and international networks concerning the improvement of the conditions of contemporary production of culture and art, exchange of experiences and co-production. Centar_kuda.org is one of several independent organizations that founded the Youth Center CK13 in Novi Sad in 2007 (www.ck13.org), and is also one of the initiators of the former city network of independent cultural organizations called "For cultural policies - Cultural policies ". Kuda.org questions the role of public space in contemporary cultural and artistic practices and its problematization. Also, kuda.org is interested in broader issues of planning a modern city in capitalist societies and forms of resistance to it (https://www.kuda.org/en/auction-novi-sads-log-spaces-between-personal-interests-and-public-needs-...).

In addition to problematizing the question of what is the "infrastructure" for contemporary cultural and artistic production, kuda.org participates in providing conditions for the residency program of exchange and stay of artists at the Akademie Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart and kuda.org in Novi Sad (in cooperation with the Institute of Culture Vojvodina).

In addition to organizing lectures, conferences, and workshops, kuda.org conceives and edits exhibitions, and the kuda.read is a publishing project, and cooperates with numerous cultural institutions and publishing houses. So far, several translations and bilingual publications in the field of art, art theory, new media, and specific treatment of "cultural heritage" have been published within this project (https://www.kuda.org/en/publications-kudaread-project).

An important part of kuda.org's work is the analysis of the social, cultural, and intellectual heritage of the former Yugoslavia, Vojvodina, and Novi Sad in the period from the 1950s to the 1980s, through the projects Permanent Art Hour, Novi Sad Neo-Avant-Garde in the 1960s and 1970s. Media Ontology and Political Practices of (Post-) Yugoslav Art, are realized through cooperation with numerous collectives from the region.
