Lisa Penkova spent seven years in the Belgian contemporary dance troupe ROSAS, choreographed by Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker (http://www.rosas.be/).
From an encounter with philosophy as an elective subject in the PARTS dance school, she attended, to an encounter with Jacques Ransier's book The Ignorant Schoolmaster: Five Lessons in Intellectual Emancipation as part of the stage, collective research on pedagogical methods and the text of this book, Lisa's current work is inspired by themes which spring from Ransier's life and theoretical work - emancipation and equality.
