The collaboration between Ilia Belorukov & Sara Zlanabitnig began in Novi Sad in June 2024. They had a short residency lasting several days, explored the acoustic and electronic sound combinations of their instruments as well as ambiental sounds and field recordings in the immediate surroundings of the city. This was not just a direct musical collaboration. Ilia and Sara integrated their sounds into the spaces in which they were played in. Out of using elements of free improvisation, electroacoustic techniques and compositional thinking they created the «Binus» album which was released at kuda.org label in December 2024. In May 2025 the duo will have a three concerts in Austria and Slovenia, where they'll present their album and continue the collaboration.
Their mini-tour will include three concerts across two countries. Dates:
