Wednesday, November 11th, 2020, at 8:20 PM, two artists from Vienna and Novi Sad will perform of a live stream concert, Dieter Kovačič aka Dieb13 (turntables, electronics) and Marina Džukljev (piano).

Creating a musical piece in the present moment, through a focus on electro-acoustic improvisation, the concert is the result of recent creative past work of two artists, expanded through interaction, musical language, and sound spectrum in a unique combination of these instruments.

The concert is part of the artistic residency of the NOISM program, which aims to develop a new artistic production in the field of improvisation. Due to the virus pandemic and the impossibility to meet physically, the meeting of the two artists will be online:

Dieb13 is the performing name of Dieter Kovačič, a Viennese-based avant-garde musician. He has also performed under the names Takeshi Fumimoto, Echelon, Dieter Bohlen, and dieb14. It focuses on transacoustic research, unframed recordings, music for theater-, opera- and video productions and installations. Founder of the klingt.orgestra and performances at various international festivals and locations. Runs the internet platform www.klingt.org  Dieter Kovačič is a conscientious copyright-objector and lives in Vienna Fuenfhaus

Marina Džukljev is a pianist, educator and active performer in the fields of free improvisation, classical, contemporary and applied music. In recent years, she has been extremely active at festivals and concert series throughout Europe. He collaborates with a wide range of artists such as: Jonas Kocher, Tomaž Grom, Joel Grip, Noid, Szilard Mezei, Yedo Gibson, Vasco Trilla, John Dikeman, Isabelle Duthoit, Tristan Honsinger, Franz Hautzinger, Rieko Okuda, Richie Herbst, Christof Kurzmann , Bertrand Denzler, Hans Koch, Isaac Hedtjarn, Korhan Erel, Luis Vicente and many others. Marina is the curator and organizer of the concert series of improvised music in Novi Sad - Improstor.

NOISM – New forms of research in contemporary music is focused on the development and analysis of contemporary art production and promoting practices in contemporary music and artistic creation with a particular focus on interactivity and group creative process.Through publishing, the project seeks to publish new author texts by local authors, relevant texts and translations of books, CDs, audio and video interviews, which will contribute to the development of art criticism and reception in the field of new music and new creative processes that are not suf- ficiently valorized in contemporary Serbian music.
