WORKSHOP 1 Finding democracy
The goal is to answer on not so simple question – Democracy is?
Journalists will have the task to find certain number of persons ( different age and race) who will have time to show -What is democracy for them. The answer should be consisted first of answering the question, then showing the scenery which represents democracy in the way they see it.
It’s a chance to go deep with the exploration in order to define a so highly reachable goal which democracy truly is today.
As a result journalists will produce mini- documentary or TV reportage about democracy outside politics.
WORKSHOP 2 A letter from America
A TV Debate about the American values and their impact on European new emerging cosmopolitan culture. Main themes of the debate will be thesis from the letter : American war for justice, tolerance, family values, consumerism, entertainment industry, media etc. Through constructive debate participants will first try to defer right from wrong and point the true values that should be implemented here in Europe, and on the other hand those that should be discarded.
This workshop is based on the essay of Etjen Balibar.
WORKSHOP 3 The art of activism
Activism in 21st century is becoming force that has a great impact on political decision making. In Eastern Europe after the Second world war many creative communities of artist, intellectuals, journalists and economics expert, were practicing this - Collective Creativity to stand against the regime. This was a birth of modern activism. What was their message? What trace did they left behind? What impact did they have on modern vanguard societies? This is a exciting exploration. There is much to be found. Investigation is crucial. Journalists, you’re on your court.
The result should be a publication that will reveal the secrets and explain modern social currencies.

WORKSHOP 4 Can we watch you instead?
This workshop reveals the way our public chooses media content that we create . It shod be placed on a public square with two or three video panels , desk and camera. For example on first panel we will show war documentary, on second tacky talk show and on third travel reportage. On desk will be placed different types of magazines from economy to fashion , daily news and publications. Camera will shoot the behavior of each person from the square who gets attracted by the presentation. Meanwhile two journalists will interwiev them and others about the ways they consume media. All this material should be used for multimedia project. One artist said: ,, I’m not excited about my documentary when it comes out, I’m excited about the impact it will have on viewers after they see it’’. Mabye our impact is greater than we think…
